Moose Patrols second EP Drowning is available to buy via all major on-line stores including iTunes, Amazon and Spotify…
With influences from the US that include Green Day, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Blink 182 as well UK’s Muse and Manchester’s Nine Black Alps, expect their live shows to be as fun, catchy and loud as their music!
The band consists of:
Adam Bostock – Guitar and Lead Vocals
Conner Hanmer – Bass and Backing Vocals
Matt Lockett – Drums
Moose Patrol have been busy over the last twelve months locally, honing their live performances at events across Manchester such as the Headlander festival and Rochdale’s Feel Good Festival. On top of that, they came first at a local battle of the bands and made it through to the semi finals of the National Live and Unsigned competition, narrowly missing out on a place in the final.
“For a group that only formed last year, Moose Patrol are really starting to prove themselves in the alternative world. With music that mixes rock, grunge and indie, they are setting themselves up to be the next undiscovered big thing. Their clear influences from the likes of Nirvana and MGMT make their EP ‘What Lies In The Dark’ catchy and a really enjoyable listen without blending into a crowd of similarly influenced artists. Definitely a band to look out for.” – University Radio Falmer 26th November 2012
“With the right exposure and determination I really think these guys could become the most exciting band in Manchester. Opening the night we have the young Moose Patrol and for a band with only a combined age of 45, they really know how to rock out. Not only that, their songs are catchy and upbeat, with the song For the Summer really being the highlight with fun backing vocals which really stick in your head. You can really see the influence of Nirvana in their songs especially with the guitar work on their songs”. – – J.Knowles, CV Magazine (Jul 19, 2012)
“When I saw Moose Patrol perform in the Castle Rock Studio’s Battle of the Bands, I could tell that they were something special. They performed with the confidence of a much older band and their energetic set would go down well at any festival. “- Michael Chisholm – Head of Music & Events Management PhaseOne Radio, PhaseOne Radio – Music Lowdown (2013)
